General Manager, Security Services

A leading Saudi Arabian security company specialized in providing civil security personnel to monitor, guard, patrol and secure residential and commercial properties is seeking a qualified security professional to lead the company in its effort to expand its business portfolio to provide a comprehensive and complementary range of security services across all major segments of the security industry that could include: electronic security control/surveillance products and services; armed/secured transport of cash and valuables; automated vehicle/fleet tracking and security; asset protection and estate security; close protection (bodyguards); and security training.   The company has its head office in Riyadh, with regional offices in the western and eastern regions.

Job Summary:

The General Manager (GM) will have overall leadership and profit & loss responsibility for all aspects of  the company’s business lines.  The GM will be responsible to ensure the achievement of the company’s mission, goals and objectives, and to ensure that financial, operational and other performance targets are achieved. The GM will be responsible for the overall planning, general operations and efficient administration of the company, and will ensure that the services it provides are of exceptional quality.

Qualifications, Experience and Other Requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in Security Management, Police Administration or related discipline.  

• At least 10 years professional management experience in positions of security services with progressive responsibilities, with at least five years recent experience in a senior-level management capacity in the security services industry.

• Is self-motivated and has strong leadership skills with a proven track record in directing and managing successful for-profit enterprises.

• Demonstrates the ability to lead, plan, organize, develop and coordinate programs that demand standards of quality and excellence.   

• Possess solid working knowledge of the economic, financial, commercial and business environment in Saudi Arabia.  

• Possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills and interpersonal skills, and is fluent in Arabic and English.
